About the Role
Working in a highly proactive and professional manner, the role exists to form part of a dedicated team that delivers a range of diverse projects for our clients. The role will undertake repairs, refurbishment and installation works of all aspects of electrical services, in both the commercial and industrial sectors. The role will involve undertaking mainly planned works within our Small Works Division ensuring client expectations are achieved every time.
You should be a qualified Electrician who has previous relevant experience and a track record of delivering to the highest standards. You will have knowledge of various installation techniques and inspection and testing procedures to allow you to certify works upon completion. Along with a valid ECS Grade Card, the successful candidate will have a recognised apprenticeship/Electrical SVQ Level 3 with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations being desirable. Previous experience working within commercial and industrial projects is preferred, with experience and knowledge in electrical testing being essential. Competent using a laptop/ipad is also desirable.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An in date and Valid CSCS/Grade card (18th edition)
- PASMA certification
- IPAF Certification – Types 1a, 3a & 3b
- A full UK driving licence
- SELECT 18th Edition Inspection and Testing or equivalent (City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395 inspection and testing)
- A good level of IT literacy
- An understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace
The role will offer training and qualifications if needed for further development and would suit someone with a keen eye for detail combined with good Health and Safety awareness. You should be professional and presentable due to the client facing nature of the role. The ability to work as part of dedicated team and support colleagues is essential, as is the willingness to be flexible, as some weekend / out of hours work will be required.
