Rapid expansion at MPACT Group, the Midlothian-based building service company, has been reinforced by a new senior management appointment.

Following the recent arrival of Yvonne Jack to the newly-created post of HR Manager, Craig Scott has been appointed Senior FM Manager.

Craig, a qualified electrician already knows the team at MPACT Group well, having visited the company on countless occasions as a sales representative for a leading electrical supplier.

He said: “I have watched with admiration the growth of the MPACT Group and have been impressed especially by its serious, highly-professional approach to client work and the supportive environment fostered by its top directors. I am delighted now to be here and look forward to making a significant contribution to its future growth.”

Paul Wringe, co-founder of MPACT Group, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Craig to the senior management team. This is a further newly-created post and we believe that by focusing closely on the needs of our customers he will make a significant contribution to the business which has been growing rapidly in the last few years.”

The family-owned Loanhead-based business which was formed in 2007, has transformed itself from a local concern into a nationally-operating enterprise. With 67 staff, including electricians, plumbers, carpenters and joiners, MPACT Group’s employees includes also 15 apprentices.
