Brief

Ediston Real Estate, a well-respected property investment and asset management firm took a strategic decision to move to new premises. They were aware that the positioning of their organisation in the marketplace would be a reflection of their location and working environment.

In consultation with Form Design, an established firm of Edinburgh architects with whom we’ve worked on a number of projects, Ediston chose M-PACT Group to deliver the Cat B fit-out of their contemporary city centre office premises.

Details

Working closely with the design team, we took the existing Cat A status and made the client’s vision a reality. The refurbishment works included the formation of new meeting room spaces with the installation of Faram glazed partitions, bespoke joinery, acoustic rated partitions and the formation of new breakout and quiet spaces.

Electrical & Mechanical services consisted of relatively straightforward minor modifications to the existing ventilation and AC system in order to accommodate the change in layout and installation of new services and security systems.

Throughout the project, we were delighted to be working with some first-class finishes and materials.

Design

A tight 6-week timescale was set by the design team for the completion of the works. As you can see from the images, the finish anticipated by the client was exceptional. Making full use of the daylight provided by the atrium, we were able to showcase the exposed brickwork, ducting and pipe work all perfectly lit by daylight. This helped pick out the building features perfectly.

In the selection of images below the orange colour has been used to great effect enhancing the image of a progressive firm and their premises.
